STEPHANIE DEL CASTILLO (SHE/HER)

Communications Coordinator: Creating compelling graphics and videos to uplift Matahari's impact and member stories through art, political education, resources, responsiveness, and strategic communications.

Bio: I am the Communications Coordinator at Matahari Women Workers Center, where I am dedicated to creating graphics and videos that uplift Matahari's impact and member stories. Through art, political education, resources, responsiveness, and strategic communications, I work to amplify the voices of the Matahari community and advocate for social justice.

I've always enjoyed being creative, a passion that has been with me for as long as I can remember. As someone who is pursuing a degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations/Marketing and a minor in Social Impact and Social Media, I am deeply passionate about connecting with people through media, stories, and messaging. My commitment to storytelling and photography allows me to effectively convey the narratives of Matahari's members and the issues they face.

Through my work and studies, I strive to bring messaging to the community in creative and impactful ways, ensuring that the voices of those I represent are heard and their stories are told.

My favorite workplace memory is: The Leaders Meeting field trip when we went apple picking!

My zodiac signs are: Sagittarius Sun, Leo Moon, Virgo Rising πŸ”₯

When I’m not at work you can find me: Hanging out with someone’s dog, traveling some place warm, catching up on school assignments, listening to music, or going out to dinner with friends.
